Here's another date, and not too far over the border from the Netherlands. 11 September the King George in Cologne, Germany and also 19 September Künstlerhaus im KunstKulturQuartier, Nürnberg Germany But where are all of my UK dates? Please!!! One of my friends is already acting all smug because SK are playing in Stowmarket and will be finishing in time for him to catch the last train home so he won't need a hotel for the night. For me, the next train home would at 0729hrs the next morning.Pah! But hopefully I'd be travelling onwards to another gig instead.

Here's a few more dates
25 September, Nijdrop in Opwijk, Belgium 28 September, Belvedere Namur, Belgium
And my stalking season begins, I've just booked my first ticket for this years UK part of the tour. Not from my preferred ticket agency, but from the first one I found who say they are doing printed tickets. Well - you can't get an e-ticket autographed!

You may have noticed that another date has been added, 13 September Kino Ebensee, in Ebensee Austria. Damnably records are saying that there are 4 more dates to come, but they haven't included the latest 3 dates on their website yet. So it's looking like the rumourmongers out there may be right and there may only be one more date to be added to this list. Oh woe is me, my world is in ruins! So here's the list of all the dates so far. 6 September, Queens Social Club, Sheffield, UK 7 September, The John Peel Centre, Stowmarket, UK 11 September The King George, Cologne, Germany 13 September Kino Ebensee, in Ebensee Austria 14 September, Tvornica Kultre, Zagreb, Croatia 15 September, The Chelsea, Vienna, Austria 19 September Künstlerhaus im KunstKulturQuartier, Nuernberg Germany 20 September, Galvanik, Zug, Switzerland 22 September, Incubate festival, Tilburg, Netherlands 25 September, Nijdrop in Opwijk, Belgium 26 September, Camera Japan Festival, Rotterdam, Netherlands 27 September, db's Utrecht, Netherlands 28 September, Belvedere Namur, Belgium So, in despair, I'll go and put my head in a bucket of cold water. It probably won't help, and it probably won't make me feel any better, but... Still, as Naoko said in her blog, "I have to write new songs.", so hopefully we'll get to hear some great new music on this tour and perhaps even feel the excitement of buying a new CD.

At least they will be on the same continent as you Pah! Technically all of the dates that they are going to be playing on their European Tour are on the same continent as me. But there's that nasty moat between me and most of their dates - the North Sea, and now the English Channel has also ganged up on me. SK have now announced that they'll be playing Paris, France. September 21 'Tokyo Crazy kawaii' Festival - Paris, France But Damnably say there are more dates to come. I can see a gap for three UK dates, or even perhaps four dates. He says optimistically.

They've not added any extra time in Europe, but have squeezed in another mainland date.
18 September Klub 007 Strahov in Prague, Czech Republic

Good grief, the tickets are selling out very quickly for this convention. According to the website there are only 20 tickets left. You can't just book a ticket for the SK gig, its the whole weekend. So, as I'd probably burn in Hell if I didn't book a ticket - or at least I'd feel as if I was hell, I've just ordered one. I hope it goes through OK.

A couple of new dates to the tour have been added, 29 September 'Shonen Knife Freaks' Show - London Dingwalls, UK Shonen Knife return to play London at Camden’s Dingwalls as part of their European tour on September 29th!
And to make this show extra special, the band will play a set made entirely of songs voted for by Fans! 16 September, KC Dunaj, Bratislava - Slovakia

Woo-hoo!!!!! My first ticket for this tour has just arrived. What's really cool is that it's for the gig in Stowmarket at the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts and it's ticket number A1. Definitely first class! Sorry for bragging, but I'm kinda thrilled about getting my ticket. ;D For those who don't know, John Peel, on his late-night show, was the first radio presenter to play Shonen Knife on UK radio. It was their single, "Ah, Singapore" which he had just received that afternoon and I was lucky enough to be addicted to his show. I instantly fell in love with their music and it's been a long lasting love affair. He also had them in to do a couple of sessions for his show. Attachments:
