Here's a nice write up about the No Cars set at Monroe's Cellar Bar in Worcester. www.twobeatsoff.co.uk/2014/09/j-pop-sunday-cars/#sthash.IgCT0mjF.7i5xLbfX.dpbsFYI, about stuff in that write-up: For the bit where "they all stand in a line, sing a nursery rhyme style song in Japanese...", the tune they "La-la-la" is a short bit of the theme tune to a long-running BBC Radio 4 program called The Archers which is on six days a week. the archers theme tune. It is the worlds longest running soap drama, "an everyday story of country folk" set in a farming community in the fictional village of Ambridge. As Haruna says, its a program on Radio 4 which is listened to by the middle classes, so perhaps no one at the gig will have heard of it. But they do their farming song anyway, all lined up at the front of the stage and miming digging and other farming stuff, because they are No Cars - "farmers". There's always a few people in the crowd who admit to knowing about The Archers, but most folks usually insist that its only because their mothers listen to it. As I mentioned previously it is watercress that Tomoko, the keyboard player is eating, not lettuce. Though as she's a cute Japanese girl, you'd expect her to be eating jelly octopus sweets rather than eating healthy cress.

Yay, No Cars have been promising us a new song about curry, and here's some evidence that they've been hard at work. Its got some easy to remember lyrics, but perhaps it could do with being a little bit longer...

2/3 of SK dressed as O/L? Just 2/3 you say. Hmm, that makes me wonder which two? The two who are young enough to pull it off, not saying that Naoko isn't gorgeous for her age, but, she's a bit past the miniskirt years.

The two who are young enough to pull it off, not saying that Naoko isn't gorgeous for her age, but, she's a bit past the miniskirt years. WHAT! WHAT!I can't believe you think that Naoko's "gorgeous for her age" but "past the miniskirt years"! Noako's gorgeous full stop. Unfortunately IRL I've not had the chance to see her legs in the flesh, but, judging from her shapely form when wearing skin-tight jeans or trousers, I'd say she's got great legs and a wonderfully pert arse. I'm sure they'd look lovely when barely covered by a tight, grey pinstriped miniskirt and finished off with kitten heeled ankle boots or perhaps black patent leather court shoes. And I'm starting to drool at the thought of Naoko wearing a translucent white blouse which is all buttoned up to the neck but allows a hint of her lacy bra to show through the fabric. Surely everyone would be chasing her to the photocopier. Must stop thinking about it! If I may draw your attention once again to this recent pic, perhaps they're not wearing miniskirts, but Naoko can really pull it off in a mini-dress. upload an image

Okay, you lucky people, here it is, the No Cars gig from 24th October, complete except for Takaco's leap from the stage, which is simply too frightening to show, & like the UFOs at Area 51 and the conclusive proof of the existence of the North American Wood Ape (i.e. Sasquatch) it will be kept from public view, and to go into full government denial mode, it never happened and I wasn't even in the country when I didn't film it!!!! Trouble is, I didn't get enough close ups of the band member's feet; we all know how much Mikado-san likes feet!!! Enjoy. youtu.be/lHYSVTNcaec
