Monomane, impersonation ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/物真似Not criminal or spy stuff — that show-biz thing of talented mimics doing
mind-bending impressions. Tablet Jun is a star practitioner.
Jinroh – Are You A Werewolf?"A game of deception, paranoia, and mob rule"
A moderated, turn-based game originally designed for 7–15 players, adapted
from the classic party game Mafia, with
an official card deck published in 2001 by Looney Labs.
Japan Jinroh Association
jinroh.jp/Ango Sakaguchi en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ango_SakaguchiNovelist and apologist for thoroughgoing social decay. His two-part 1946 essay
"Discourse on Decadence" looked at post-war Japan in ruins and pronounced it
bankrupt, without law, discipline, honor, or hope. As these had proven to be
illusions of a catastrophic militarist propaganda, he declared their opposites
the truth and the only suitable objects of a liberated individual.
He lived much as he wrote.
Humanity… humanity itself found no way to overcome the terrifying obliteration
of the Future during the war. The war merely ended. Is not the hero of the
Special Attack Forces [ suicide squadrons ] already a part of the black market?
Has not the war widow new life swelling in her bosom [ i.e., already pregnant ]?
Humanity is unchanged. Let us simply revert to being human. Humanity falls
into decadence. Faithful warriors and sacred virgins, too, fall into decadence.
Our fall cannot be prevented, we cannot be saved.
Humanity lives and humanity falls.
There is no road to salvation. In 1946, this looked like the truth, and anyone who spoke it eloquently was its prophet.
The biggest difference between Sakaguchi's reaction and the rise of existentialism in
France is that, for ordinary Japanese, the concept of individual integrity was nothing
apart from selfless allegiance; thus, it had been thoroughly poisoned by the war.
KayoumandanSong and comic chat, standup monologues and skits woven together
with vocal and instrumental music. A complete variety show in one act.
Again, Tablet Jun is a leader but over the years there have been dozens
and dozens of greats. It's a staple form of
manzai comedy.

The Tablet Jun segment is up as of 07:00. Amazingly versatile vocalist, and surprise —
he can really use that little yellow guitar. Jun cracks up even himself, but it's harder to
appreciate the imitation when you've never heard the original.
The wispy, androgynous, Tiny Tim manner is everyday regular Jun. He's been mistaken
in the past for an elderly woman. The reason his superb singing voice comes as a shock
is that he constricts it when he speaks in a way that is typical of women.
Mami Amamiya (1976–2016) 雨宮まみ
@mamiamamiya Celebrity essayist, columnist, talk-show personality and lecturer on themes of gender and
sexuality. Amamiya began as a writer and editor of adult magazines and always retained
personal ties to the porn industry.
She became known for her emotionally raw autobiographical essays, eventually collected in
Female Complications (2011). She also authored
The Erotic Adversary Today (2006, with
JAV star Rio Yasuda),
To Live in Tokyo (2015),
Welcome to the No-Confidence Room (2015),
Chatting About Love and Desire (2016),
Do You Lose By Living Seriously? (2016), "Girl, Get
A Gun", "Do You Plan To Stay Single Forever?", "A Woman's Way of Death — Reading the
Feminine Essay", and many other works.
Amamiya, barely 40 years old, was unexpectedly reported dead of cardiopulmonary arrest
after what was described as an accident at home. Stylish and attractive, she had publicly
wrestled with middle age on a website made by her publisher for the purpose, called
Turning 40. There she pronounced "Losing youth means losing possibility," while acknowledging that
her youth had been burdened by its unrealizable possibilities. There's a suggestion that
her 40s represented a last chance to like the person she'd become.
In her Hatena diary
From The Girls Life Battlefield, the
last entry she made herself was a
morbid reflection on insomnia and disaffection, headlined "Wanting to Die at Night".
She wrote, "When you're dead, nothing else happens." (not good); but also, "I don't
have the feeling of "I want to see the scenery ahead."
Charles Mingus en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_MingusThe great jazz bassist, composer and bandleader theorized that personalities were as
significant as proficiency to the potential of a musical ensemble. He wasn't the first
music director to think so, but he might have been the first to articulate it as a principle
of artistic creation. Instruments are instruments, and the players are instruments, too.
David Bowie (1947–2016) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_BowieDavid Robert Jones, famous multimedia phenom, fashion designer and
impresario from Brixton.
CG Jung en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_JungInfluential Swiss spiritualist, theorist of personality, mystic, and personal pain in
the ass to Sigmund Freud, who wrote of Adolph Hitler that he "seemed like the
'double' of a real person, as if Hitler the man might be hiding inside like an appendix,
and deliberately so concealed in order not to disturb the mechanism… You know
you could never talk to this man; because there is nobody there… It is not an
individual; it is an entire nation."
Kokoro-ya www.facebook.com/jinosuke.kokoroya Smiling, self-made psychological counselor and trainer based in Kyoto,
originally with a background in Jungian psychology, hypnosis, NLP and
discarded split-brain theories. He champions the power of "magic words"
saying, "your personality can be changed by just one word!"
His company does individual counseling, develops courses and conducts workshops.
The goal is "personality remodeling" by inspiration, emotional support,
and the use of language as a vehicle of thought to influence the subconscious
mind directly. His events look like camp meetings, complete with guitar.
