Be careful when you tourYou could lose your guitar player and your band
I continue pretending that Gitogito Hustler belong in a Jungles!!! thread.
Because this is one time I don't feel like starting a new one for a band
that's as good as gone these 10 years.
First of all, there's this:

DVD documentary recorded on the fall 2005 US tour. One camcorder, one operator,
substandard sound and image quality... but they got it down.
Return to the days when Fusa was a drummer and Mitsuko was slinging a scuffy
black SG standard. The singer/songwriter/2nd guitar is the other Yagoroumaru
sister, who simply went by "Yago". The bassist/lyricist is Tae.
Yago and Mitsuko in 2007, likely. 325's hair color. Between 2003–2007 GGH made 5 trips to the US while playing and recording in
Japan and running their own Candy Poison label.
The Test Patterns in 2006 (?). One of these things is not like the others. In 2006 Yago met Dan McNellie (guitarist for The Radio Beats) in Pittsburgh, PA on
tour for the US release of
Love and Roll… and before long she was spending a lot of
time in Pittsburgh with him, in a loud, hard, fast band called The Test Patterns.
The Test Patterns looks like the fruit of the personal relationship. Not the other way, surely. And incidentally getting married before year-end.
There's one photo of Dan at home in a white satin tux, like the Moody BluesResponsibility for actually quitting GGH first is given to Tae, though — not long after
a 30-day tour of the US, again with The Spunks, September–October 2007.
Bi-cultural, bi-national, bi-lingual, polybanduous, intercontinental... it's a huge stretch.Living two lives at once didn't work out so well, not for anyone involved. GGH disbanded
after 12 years without a membership change, and The Test Patterns also stopped after a
couple of years. Where Yago and Dan wound up is not public knowledge AFAIK.
The Test Patterns at MySpace:myspace.com/thetestpatterns/music/songsOnly about half the tracks are actually Test Patterns songs.
Last recorded Test Patterns location: Minami-Honcho, Kanto, Japan
Gitogito Hustler at MySpace:myspace.com/gitogitohustlermusic/music/songs Really an index of YouTube videos. Not bad though.

Gito Gito Hustler & The Spunks Slideshow2008 AUG 07 by atsuikuso (03:49)
Slideshow of the two bandsImages from September 2005, according to haircuts. The audio is Gitogito Hustler's
first US single, "Wonderful" on the Gearhead label.
The Spunks were label-mates at Gearhead Records, and were good to have along in the
US, as their base was New York City. Actually, Michelle from Gearhead said The Spunks
acted as translators to get GGH signed. Guitarist Hajime would introduce GGH at joint
US shows.
GGH returned the favor by bringing The Spunks to Japan and releasing their albums there.

It's just the Gitogito footage, Spunks are ignored completely.
