Does this mean that MxBx will be on tour in the UK this year? Surely they won't come over just for just this one show in London. Don't do a Laibach and only come over for just the one show this year, please... I don't like the language on the Facebook page. And lastly headlining the Saturday night. One of the greatest live bands ever, a band always right at the top of our wish list. Melt-Banana in an UK exclusive show. But they seem to like to add dates as they go, so maybe!

Savage Imperial Death March Tour MxBx and some other guys at Slim's in San Francisco2016 May 05-06 I'll just acknowledge that a two night stand for Melt Banana at Slim's happened without me. I feel guilty for lack of support. In a perfect world, I would have gone twice. It looks like they did OK without me. As the promoters saw it, it was a Napalm Death show with deep support. Review by local music web thing: Napalm Death – On Earth to Make as Much Noise as Possible 2016 May 10 by Jeff Spirer For SF Sonic sfsonic.com/concerts/napalm-death-on-earth-to-make-as-much-noise-as-possible/Napalm Death / Melvins Slim’s May 5, 2016 Write, write, write, write. Then: Opener Tokyo-based Melt Banana rounded the night, providing an also loud-but-grungy sound with a totally different feel. Think about Betty Boop losing her mind doing vocals while the guitar makes noises from an underground weapons factory. That’s Melt Banana in a nutshell.
Vocalist Yasuko Onuki waved a lit-up remote trigger and sang/rapped her high-pitched squeals in front of pre-recorded industrial sludge and mostly-breakspeed beats. The band’s unique sound, descended from a variety of Japanese noise rock bands including Ground Zero, Zeni Gava, Keiiji Haino, and The Boredoms, took the metal-oriented audience by surprise, and the twosome received a terrific welcome from the Slim’s audience.Occasional chords and maybe even a solo somewhereThe other half of Melt Banana, guitarist Ichirou Agata, extracted all sorts of noise and occasionally chords and maybe even a solo somewhere, from his guitar and pedals. Agata seems to have an unlimited repertoire of noises never heard in the real world. If there hadn’t been two more bands coming, Melt Banana could have stayed on stage just to show how much weird sound can be made by two people and a computer. Yeah, if it's Japan it's weird, 'cause that's the same thing isn't it?

http://instagr.am/p/BLZ24U3AEwT cryptcity at Tokyo FEVER with Melt-Banana in support, at the final show of the release tour for cryptcity's album Chant. Yako's shoes. https://www.instagram.com/p/BLangXThgds Melt-Banana's approving view of the closing act (not necessarily the same show). It's the band swinging from the rafters, I don't know that patrons would be allowed to create a potential liability like that.

http://instagr.am/p/BNfG02MBz1- Taking the edge off on tour in France Geek artist Yako deliberately dropped her jaw, to make her face congruent with the glass.

Joy!!!
