Hey, they're the band from Kill Bill! Let's hope a Shonen Knife show never ends like that. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, just watch the movie)
By the way; I'M BACK!! :-D

Thanks guys! Last spring, Shonen Knife played in the Netherlands, but it was at a festival with many other bands, so the ticket price was very high. And I really didn't have the time to go anyway. So for me it's quiet at the SK front. That's why I haven't been on the forum for some time.

[quote author=" thegl0r" We love Mothra, so here's some lyrics for you to learn... Domo for lyrics. To learn, I naturally repeated them over and over aloud. Now there's a huge cocoon around my home. What should I do? I found that this (original soundtrack) song and its incomplete first version are both in the US iTunes Store. So, you know, I... I thought it'd be good to be able to summon the Big Girl if I ever get abducted.

Since this is no place for a full excavation of Mothra, let’s return to our regularly scheduled rokabirī girl group. Perception test: which is the lady, and which is the tiger? ** It's a trick question. Whatever it is in the water, Ronnie Fujiyama got a double dose. ~~~~~~~~~~ ** Both are both!

The 5,6,7,8's / Jet Boys / Guitar Wolf
Uploaded by: longgoneloser Resolution: SD, 480p Runtime: 09:21 Rating: Suggested for mature audiences due to language and visuals such as you might see on the Internet, for example. This is the “Family” segment from the 1995 shock-u-mentary, Hell bento!: uncovering the Japanese underground. You'll probably never see the whole film unless you subscribe to SBS-TV in Australia. Too bad, because it looks like quite a piece of work. This clip would be a digital transfer from a private tape of a long-ago cable-cast. Ronnie especially comes across as thoughtful, articulate, and PASSIONATE about her, you know — passions. Her admission of fascination with "that American grossness" is here. I don't believe Ronnie's language is actually as coarse as the English subtitles. They have her saying that the Japanese mainstream is f**ked, when all she says is that it's the lowest/worst/disgusting. Also, to a member of the Guitar Wolf entourage, "You're f**ked," when what I hear is, "Haiteiru yo." And that would be more like, "Gag me!" (吐いている is the continuing form of the verb to spew out.) I don't find Ronnie's speech very easy to understand, but that stubborn little rocker chick lost in an oversized motorcycle jacket is definitely my kind of people.
