"The Night is Still Young" - maybe this is the definitive P5 song? I'm thinking yes (although I could change my mind by next week:) youtu.be/74JglaQdZfY

"The Night is Still Young" - maybe this is the definitive P5 song? Could be, at that. When you take it together with its video, it has all the big-city sophistication, the hipster coolness, the irony, the self-awareness, the self-assertion, the self-deprecation, the sense of fun, the Fellini-like surrealism, the just plain weirdness, the world-weariness, the delight, the energy, the surrender, the little bit of sadness... the stuff. "Tokyo, seven in the evening." Isn't there something that those words just really get right at?

Ticklish. But the next helper has to hang a wireless transmitter from her bra strap.

Another kind of in-store appearance for the frenchified Japanese casual fashion label. They make it look like a school reunion!

Wow, and two live kickoff performances in November sponsored by Billboard. Miss Maki has a classy website at dubdubdub-missmakinomiya-com (figures). I guess we're getting the ondo arrangement here because it's obon season in Japan. Pretty funny, actually. It sounds good, though!
