棒人間 (bou ningen) in English would be Stick Men. Long, long hair and pretty eyes notwithstanding, all are dudes (sorry). The band has existed in some form since 2006. The members are all Japanese who found each other in the London music scene, which they describe to interviewers as much better than Tokyo or Osaka for bands with an uncertain draw. Shoegaze unfriends dreampop, and starts texting industrial and noise in the middle of the night with pictures of itself dressed as an Acid Monk. The tracks below are both from one of their two 2014 releases, III (PIAS / Stolen Recordings). Bo Ningen - KaifukuKaifuku is either recovery/recuperation... or an abdominal incision according to jisho.org. Without the kanji characters, you can't really tell which. Bo Ningen enjoy dark allusions. I enjoy the KILLER BASS AND DRUMS that pick you up off your feet like Godzilla. Bo Ningen - Slider feat. Roger Robinson (Official video)
As far as I know, slider means slider. So, you know, turtle or baseball pitch or what-have-you. This is not toe-tapping music; more like thrashing about delirious music. Enjoy!
