I don't believe this excellent band has a thread on this forum so here goes.....
Formed in Fukuoka consisting of permanent members of Mika Yoshimura (Guitar, Vocal) & Ryoko Nakano (Drums).
Below is taken from their official web site -
"Crashing onto the global music scene like a diminutive but no less destructive monster, Bo-Peep are three small girls who make a very big noise.
Formed in Fukuoka, Japan and now based in Tokyo, Bo-Peep blend chaotic guitar riffs, brutal rhythm and manic vocals with a melodic sensibility that echoes the raw but infectious energy of the grunge era. With guitar, bass, drums and no added nonsense, Bo-Peep's three albums (including 2010's 'VIBE') and two mini-albums are loaded with savage songs that are all the more visceral in the flesh.
The girls' explosive live reputation has seen them storm stages across Japan and the UK, with their first US jaunt in March 2009. Japan's Fuji Rock Festival, Britain's The Great Escape and In The City, and now Texas' South By Southwest - all have fallen under the might of Bo-Peep."
Couldn't put it better myself and as I'm hung over I won't even attempt to.
"Surprise people see on intense sound wildly as I can not imagine, BO-PEEP that while expanding the playing field to the world is finally, a woman of little trio from its appearance.
The formed in Fukuoka, and is based in Tokyo now. Guitar riff of chaotic, violent rhythm, a melody responsive to the sound but the vocals wacky you enclosed the energy of grunge, all they are intermixed.
Just bass and drums and guitar, and I packed the Miniarubaru two and three albums, including "VIBE" the (2010) the music to sound the bottom of the mind violently." ~ this is the "interesting" version which comes back when the page is put through the translate facility - I think it actually adds a certain something to it!!
Their official web site - bo-peep3.com/
Below are three links to a complete gig from 2007 on Youtube, which I think captures Bo Peep at their intense scorchingly hot best.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w8UdmqNoNg - which ends with Mika's arse retreating in the distance as she crawls off the stage. A sight to behold, the live performance that is!
Discography:-
OX3 (mini album) 2003
Time Of Rock (mini album) 2005
Is It Good For You? !! (full album) 2007
Sick Orange Television (full album) 2008
Vibe (full album) 2010
All their mini & full albums are available on Itunes and are highly recommended to forum members. Also their first full album 'Is It Good For you? !!' is cheaply available on both Amazon and E Bay. I have seen other releases on Amazon (which brings us back to a recent discussion of VAT charges. )
Bo Peep prove yet again, that some of the finest practitioners of punk rock are Japanese women.
