I couldn't find a specific place to stick random animations where they wont get lost, so I thought I'd stick this one here. Hopefully its OK. Here's a short animation involving one of those ubiquitous vending machines that seem to litter the streets of Japan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Zq6BPY_LJgAttachments:

So that my previous post doesn't get too lonely, I thought I'd add a few more random suggestions... Perhaps I should start with the original 60's Astro Boy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnX-0fbXzyAThen compare to a rather creepy 80's Astro Boy with English subtitles which is somewhat different to the version dubbed into English on the DVD that I've got. It's got a whole darker twist - there's even an evil Astro Boy!. www.youtube.com/watch?v=esbPHb9EOcYTobor 8th Man. Supposedly the inspiration for RoboCop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpuARH6VtvcFull Metal Alchemist. The perils of alchemy and the dangers of equivalent exchange. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd0i5KR4hIMThe angst of a teenage boy getting into tricky situations with his Blugeoning Angel, Dokuro-Chan at his side. It's very funny in a naughty schoolboy sort of way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cls5G5PSoCEAnd here's a still taken from another anime - he-he-he! I just couldn't resist posting it. ;D Attachments:

I guess my Japanese is at preschool level now, as I understood a good deal of what they were saying

Is it possible for me to be a weeaboo, if I'm, like, actually Japanese? Many more threaded clips if you click out to the actual Twitter feed. I don't know who gets a bigger THIS IS WRONG — Japanese fans who assumed Sally was from Japan, or Americans who see a Japanese girl talking, but hear an Angelena. "Sally Amaki" is the anime voice of Sakura Fujima, a character in 『ナナブンノニジュウニ』 ( Nana-bun no Nijyuu-ni, 22/7). "Digital Voice Actress Idol Group" From now on, these girls will be the ones breaking down the barrier between 2D and 3D!This is an anime series still in development, but also a performing idol group in the latest cross-marketing gambit from the Sony/Aniplex braintrust. Frankly, there aren't that many people who could really succeed in the dual role of voice actress / song and dance idol, so this is a difficult bit of bacon to bring home. They're expecting to raise up 11 little Aya Hiranos. The idol life is really hard
Let's be real, I'm not the most liked one… Like, I'm literally like a sewage ratShe can talk a mile a minute and she knows just what she should be doing, but the way Sally does everything is American. All the body language is big and horsey compared to her Japanese counterparts, so it's no wonder if Japan doesn't find her very kawaii. She's beyond tomboy. To really score a hit, she'll have to create her own category to fit into. Follow the vicissitudes of 22/7 in English at twitter.com/227_updates
