There's also this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhGXoSPMKXgReally like the fact that the dude on guitar is wearing a Stiff Records t shirt! That dude has just got to own a copy of My Aim Is True. Wonder if he's got a pair of Red Shoes as well. Also check out the below, not Look And Listen but good stuff from South Korea. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XaFVGP8PQs

I love to see Misook enjoying herself. OMG Scumraid OMG — that is a thick and crackly crust! We give them a consumer culture that's tuned to the breaking point, and all these criminal youth are doing is... what ARE they doing? It's illegal, that's all I know. Faces of resignation. This is going to hurt a lot, and there's no way to stop it.Also, LOL the history scholar wearing the Circle Jerks t-shirt in that photo report.

Obvious, I guess, that there would be video of Hacking the City. All this took place in October 2014 in the Sinchon neighborhood of Seoul — a youth-y shopping and nightlife district served by the Sinchon subway station, close to a women's university. If you can make it to Seoul for Oct 2-4, you can catch Jungles and TsuShiMaMiRe while you're at it.
We just need Audrey from Benten to hire some help and get busy on Korea Nite. And to think about more markets than just two.
But somebody would probably choke her back in Tokyo!

All apologies for going somewhat off topic but couldn't resist posting this, Japanese duo but playing live in Seoul. Perhaps it's Ritsuko's evil twin sister??!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGbFl7nj1Cg

I could phone in sick to work & explain that I'd had to go to a 'treatment centre' in Seoul.......

It must have been particularly troublesome as it took her a good 8 minutes to shift it. Still, it was fun watching her try to loosen it.

Something tells me we need a separate K-punk thread....

Something tells me we need a separate K-punk thread.... This is out of control, like always. We should carry on elsewhere. Maybe a separate Pan-Asian Rock subforum? 'Cause to the scene, nations matter less than genres. You're hardcore? Is that more speedcore, or metalcore? Oh, more metalcrust? No, you're metal... you're speedmetal, but you're hard house influenced? Because your singer is also a DJ? Is she UK house or... seriously, Malaysian hardcore speed house? Speed violencecore hard metal house, but gangster-style? And you're political? Please sign up to do my rock festival in China. We won't need any other acts, you *are* a festival.

Shy, retiring Kimchinyun from Dead Gakkahs surrounded by members of Find The Spot (I think). Or maybe they are *at* The Spot...Since the buckets don't grow, but the content grows and changes forever, my vote is for a separate AsiaPac Pop/Rock subforum, with threads for K-punk, C-punk, whatever-punk or alt or rock or pop or trad or underground or... That way, when an exciting grinder guitar band shows up in the Philippines, we already have a way to deal with it that doesn't break anything else.
