Just wanted to comment on this album as I have the Japanese version and it's a bit different... The songs are in a slightly different order. Concrete Animals is track #1. Quavers is missing, and it's been replaced with Strawberry Cream Puff. Fans in the West got SCP on Birds & B-Sides; fans in Japan got Quavers on a CD called Greatest History, released in 1995, with 12 songs on it. The cover image is different too, it's got the girls sitting on some stone steps. The individual member photos inside are great though (especially Michie!) Well, if you have a scanner, scan the images, I'd like to see them ^_^

This is the only pic inside mine: WTF! Some graphic artist should be slapped across the face for that! (I'm one too, so I tend to be critical of these things.) The Japanese photos are a lot different. There's one of...ah, I won't bother describing it, I'll just take a photo and upload it, hopefully soon.

Cools, can't wait to see... and if you want to do some SK fan art, just for fun, you can post it here...... Whatever the merits of the pic, I think Naoko makes a pretty good tiger.

And then, all the inner photos. I had to take the booklet apart to show all three members. Don't worry...the booklet had already fallen apart...I got the CD ex-rental. I like Michie's photo best. It is nice. Attachments:

These are the outfits they also wear on the American version of the cover. Should have had 'em on the JP cover too...

Okay, here we go...here's the original Rock Animals cover. Wow, Atsuko looks like a supermodel here.... and , once again, this pic shows how much Michie and Naoko resemble each other (You would think that THEY were the sisters!)

I just recently bought this album and I'd like to share my thoughts. I LOVE this album. It has a little bit of everything! I've been listening to it a lot. But the artwork on the inside is HORRIBLE! Seriously, who designed this?
I'm not going to comment on every song, but here's what I think: "Brown Mushrooms" is my favorite song on the album. Before I owned it, I listened to it all the time on YouTube. I'm not even sure why I like it so much. Maybe it's the sound of the guitar. I also really love "Concrete Animals"! "Little Tree" is darling. It seems like the lyrics could be the words in a picture book! "Tomato Head" is great, but I find it hilarious because Naoko is so serious about it! And then there's "Music Square". For some reason, I have a feeling that when Naoko retires or dies, I will be crying my eyes out whenever I hear this. There's just something about it. It's a great way to end the album!

jaicee I haven't forgotten about "Brown Mushrooms". I'm getting back to work on it tomorrow. This has been a hectic summer. "Rock Animals" is a must have album, "712" will always be my favorite.

It's okay shonencello, I told you to take as much time as you need! There are still a lot of other songs on your channel that I need to learn!
