I know, that's why I had the tongue out 'twas a joke, probably not a very funny one!! Contact Tokyo was the first song I ever heard by Mikabomb. By the end of the song I was a committed fan. Seriously.....these are Garage Super Stars I desperately want to see live! I will be sure to change my underpants, because I may need an ambulance!! I thought the joke was funny. I will be sure to change my underpants, because I may need an ambulance!!This joke you might want to keep to yourself.

SK and the Hard Nips on the same bill ~ that's almost as good!!! I think I would have been so excited at that gig I would have needed an ambulance!!!! ;D

Yeah The Hard Nips were great that night (I've seen them several times) and they graciously pumped up the crowd for Shone Knife.
I've been listening to White Mystery who are opening for SK this Saturday and they are a very good band.

Didn't get to meet them but Yoko pushed me out of the way to get a drink at the bar! The music scene in NYC is not very friendly. Naoko is a breath of fresh air and New Yorkers love her for it. I've never seen the Hard Nips sign autographs or seen anyone ask them for it either. I might give it a try next Wednesday. I'm going to see them.

I thought they'd be only too happy to meet and greet and sell CDs etc? Hope it goes well for you, let us know how it goes. I hope Mikabomb are more friendly!! ;D

They never have a merchandise counter.
Their very friendly to their hardcore fans who follow them from gig to gig. So if you can establish a relationship with them their cool I guess.
They may come from Japan, but these are hardcore Brooklyn girls and having disdain for your audience is part of the scene.

Speaking about a resemblance, I was watching the Olympics today. I saw a female Chinese judo player, who looked like a very tough version of Emi. If I can find a picture of her, I will post it here.
