For a long time now, I've been curious about which girl was which of those cool SK dolls (i'd love to have a set); the clothes they have on were designed by Atsuko after the designs of Dutch modern artist Mondrian... his designs were also the basis for the bus on the Partridge Family TV show (If you are too young to know them, Google it), anyway, I decided to match an early pic of the Girls and compare it with the dolls: thus, on the Dolls pic, Atsuko is centre (it makes sense since she is the tallest doll), Naoko is on the left and Michie on the right!

I'm sorry, but I have to correct you here. Mondrian was not from Spain, but from the Netherlands. So Shonen Knife wears dresses from my country! Yes, I'm proud to be Dutch! :-)
If you want to know more, search for Piet Mondriaan on Wikipedia.
