Personally, All 3 bassists have been fantastic, but, I picked Michie as it was her unconventional "fuzz" bass that gave the band it's distinctive sound.
As for the other 2, to me, it's a virtual tie; neither Ritsuko or Atsuko started on the bass, but, both are now World class

As much as I love Ritsuko, I have to go with Michie because she was the original.

Michie Was a great bass player for 18 years with the band she was also a great song writer. Ristuko Is great too and besides Denki Candy she has her own act called Litsuko where she plays acustic guitar and sings. Atsuko Played drums Bass designs the clothes and sang- very talented! Hatsue from Pink Pander Also Tamoka and Kori who filled in when there not with their bands
Its not an easy pick but Ill go with Michie (Mi-Chi-A) everybody says her name wrong !

Btw, do you think Naoko will let her any write songs for SK? (I always thought Michie wrote the best SK songs)

A good question ? Is Ritsuko a Hired gun or will she write any songs ? Sadly, my guess is "hired gun"; otherwise, there would be no need for "Litsuko" to perform, right?

Hatsue from Pink Pander Also Tamoka and Kori who filled in when there not with their bands! I knew there had been a couple other support bassists but, I didn't know all their names and decided to go only with the ones that were "permanent"

I agree... Its a buisness....Just like Disney...But to be a Naoko Nut ! ,,,Shut your brian off and enjoy the music...Paying the bills is Atsushi's job.
Maybe Ritsuko's contract does not let her write songs ? Maybe Litsuko is her Outlet !
As for the other bass players im drumming up Controversy.....If I didnt it would be boring !
