Here are a few japanese phrases with the english word.
Konnichiwa=Hello Konnichiwa=Good Afternoon Ogenki desu-ka.=How are you? Genki-desu.=I'm fine.

Hajimemashite= translates loosely to "pleased to meet you" Eigo ga dekimasu ka?= Do you understand English? Boku wa (your name) desu!= I am (Your name)
Thus, when addressing yourself to someone Japanese, you can introduce yourself (in casual Japanese) by saying:
Boku wa (your name) desu, hajimemashite! Eigo ga, dekimasu ka?
(For a more formal greeting boku wa can be replaced by "Watashi ha"...which i prefer to use.....for women, watashi can be said as atashi)
