Does anyone know if the Japanese version of "Super Group" has all the songs in Japanese or did they leave some in English. I'd sure love to hear a Japanese version of Muddy Bubbles Hell (but I suspect they'll have left that one in English?)

Does anyone know if the Japanese version of "Super Group" has all the songs in Japanese or did they leave some in English. I'd sure love to hear a Japanese version of Muddy Bubbles Hell (but I suspect they'll have left that one in English?) The P-Vine (Japanese) release of Super Group is all sung in English. Here's a link to a listing of the P-Vine release of Super Group, if it's any help. There's a 1 minute sample of each of the songs on the CD. www.juno.co.uk/search/?quick_search_records=m_cd&q=+%09++P-Vine%3A+PCD-25086&x=7&y=9&qs=1&s_search_precision=any&s_search_type=all&s_genre_id=0000The P-Vine release has only the 10 studio tracks on it. The Damnably (Europe) release, has an extra 3 live "bonus" tracks recorded 17 June 2009 at The Windmill, Brixton (London). Lazy Bone, Riding On The Rocket, and Muddy Bubbles Hell. The Good Charamel (US) release has only one live "bonus" track - Jet. The front cover design is the same on both the Japanese and European releasees, but the US cover is slightly different. I hope I got that right. Attachments:

I hope I got that right. That looks right, although I'm pretty sure the Good Charamel bonus track is Evil Birds. Thanks for confirming they didn't record the 10 songs in both languages. What a shame. I so wanted to hear Muddy Bubbles Hell in Japanese! (Although I guess that would have defeated the point, with it being a homage to Ronnie James Dio/Rainbow/etc.) Incidently, Dio was one of the first bands I ever saw.

Whoops, I think you may be right 'bout "Evil Birds". I was very disappointed at the lack of Japanese lyrics. Something less to "need" to buy.

I don't expect them to go back and record English vocal tracks for "Strawberry Sound" or "Candy Rock" especially over a decade later. But it would be nice to at least have an English translation so I would know vaguely what they are singing about. That's one reason I find it hard to get into "Candy Rock". My Japanese is not good enough to understand it (though I did take TWO years of Japanese in college). At least with the older Japanese-only songs like "Parallel Woman" "Miracles" "Elephant Pao Pao" etc... we have English lyrics in the booklet.

Turning your post inside out, but, in a related vein, I would love to see Good Charamel records bring out the Japanese versions of the albums, or at least make Candy Rock & Strawberry sound available to us, here in the Americas

Here's a question 'd like to get some feedback on: WHEN NAOKO RETIRES, SHOULD THE KNIFE END??? pls comment Only if Michie comes back... or maybe Michie AND Atsuko comes back... by this time Naoko turned into a pretty much important SK member by holding the band almost alone after all the other original members left, so to still be SK, the other 2 original members have to come back. Ritsuko should do the guitar, Atsuko should sing where Naoko sings and do lead guitar while Ritsuko would do the second guitar... Michie would need to be the bassist and then we can leave Emi on the Drums by now :B But a power trio with: Atsuko(guitar) Michie(bass) Emi(drums) OR Atsuko(drums) Michie(bass) Ritsuko(guitar) would be nice...
