Here are some photos from a visit to a unique part of Tokyo. Sunset: Elementary school class: ...and this one might give away the precise location... Really big sundial - the biggest sundial I have ever seen:

No guesses taken, so I'll just clarify: all of the photos were taken on Chichi-jima in the Ogasawara Island chain (a.k.a. Bonin Islands)
The first photo of a "Tokyo sunset" was taken at the weather station on the NW side of the island, the second was taken at Kopepe Beach, and the third was taken at a park in the "downtown" area of Futami port. These islands, although located ~600 km due south of Tokyo, are zoned as a sub-prefecture of Tokyo. Wacky.

Would you say the islands are worth anybody's 600km boat ride? All I seem to recall about them is a desperate eco-war against new-world anoles brought as pets by ships' crews and released.

Oh, sorry - meant to type 1,000km south, which is about 600 miles. It's a 1,000 km, 25-hour boat ride, as there is no airport.
I really enjoyed it. People were very friendly and laid back. Fascinating history, with about as many ties to the U.S. as to Japan. Great weather. Amazing aquatic life of all types. Crime rate has to be very near zero. Hotel costs were minimal, after taking the hit of the travel costs (it seemed more affordable in '02 when I went). Getting there was a significant journey, but it felt like a real adventure because of that. I went because I know a guy who grew up there, and wanted to see the paradise he had always spoken so highly of. It didn't disappoint. It is like, I have been told, how Okinawa or Hawaii at one time were, with all the basic modern conveniences, but not yet overrun with all the negative things that come with advanced development.
I know I didn't specify it as a game, but I thought somebody might wonder how a sunset from Tokyo would look out over the ocean, due to Tokyo's location.

The game was, "are you guys even paying the slightest attention?!!" There's a horizon to the West of Sumida only because this is an aerial photoI guess that'd be pre-war Hawaii and Okinawa, since the US military put a big wrinkle in equality, community and accessibility in both places. That long ocean trip is the best friend those islanders have got, if they are enjoying their way of life today.
