Hey guys, X-Day is the new name of my dad's band (formerly known as The Unknown, but that was taken). They've been making music since the '90s but they're just now working on a demo. It would mean a lot to me if you would check them out. You'll probably like them if you like rock. Here's the YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/xdaybandAnd if you like what you hear, like the Facebook page and follow them on Twitter! www.facebook.com/pages/X-Day-Band/151289238363122twitter.com/xdaymusicThanks guys!

P.S. My dad writes all the songs, sings and plays guitar...actually, he does pretty much everything during recording. There are other members, but they aren't as involved in the recording process.

Not my kind of music, but , VERY well done, they sound very professional; I wonder though about their name, makes one think they might be a "Green-day" cover band

They came up with it because they used to be The Unknown, and "x" is the unknown in math. But as a major Green Day fan, I do think of GD when I hear their name. They'll be thrilled to know that it sounds "VERY well done" and professional! My dad kept thinking it could be better, and he was a little hesitant in posting the videos. Thanks to everyone who watches it and gives it a chance! I appreciate it! We're trying to get as many views/Facebook likes/Twitter followers as possible. And obviously, there's a lot more to come, so I'll probably post updates here every once in a while if you guys are interested.

Black Sabbath meets Rush ? Just my first random reaction. Sounds wel put together but after listening some more it sounds a bit like 80's (hair)metal somehow ?..can't put my finger on it. But maybe that's what they're going for ? Not really my thing, but sounds really good ;D

And I think the band did start in the late '80s...or maybe very early '90s? I'm not sure; I wasn't born yet. But thanks for the feedback!! I'll tell my dad. Here's the latest song (which was actually featured on a local radio commercial!): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Smy7wjcybtIAgain, thank you all so much for listening! And even if you don't want to listen, just go to it anyway so it gets views.

Sounds very good! I wish my dad was as cool as yours! My dad is just a boring asshole who used to own a furniture store.
