A personal favorite of mine (and my 8 year old daughter Samantha) is the "We Are Very Happy You Came" mini-CD released in '93 - songs from their tour in England in Dec '91. What a set list! "Lazybone" (one of my favorites!) "Public Bath" (an oldie but goodie) "Goose Step Mama" (A cover of the Rutles?? How cool is that?) "I Wanna Eat Choco Bars" (probably my all-time favorite SK song) "Suzy Is A Headbanger" (awesome Ramones cover) "Boys" (my daughter's favorite - brings back memories of listening to the Beatles' Live at the Hollywood Bowl record - good stuff!) "Redd Kross (perfect ending to a great set) Rock! I would love them to make a 30th ann album of all the songs from mini albums and such, that never made it to the regular albums (Suzy Is A Headbanger, Buttercup is a SuperGirl, Hamigaki etc)

Okay, I guess as one of your newest members this is a good thread to start with:
1-7) Don't have a single bad track on them. Can be played (and have been played) hundreds of time without any form of ennui. Their individual rankings has held steadfast over the years and will unlikely change.
Top Tier (b/c IMO not a shite track in sight):
1) Burning Farm 2) Pretty Little Baka Guy 3) Yama-no Attchan 4) Minna Tanoshiku 5) 712 6) The Birds & The B-Sides 7) Brand New Knife
Upper Middle Tier:
8) Free Time (it's unusual for an album of less than 5 years to make it so high in my ratings which is just a testament of how much I love this album. Unfortunately "Monster Jellyfish" prevents this from moving to the next level) 9) Candy Rock (hard rocking mini-album with not a single bad track/ will probably move up to next level at some point) 10) Genki Shock! (all the tracks are enjoyable in varying degree but hard-rocking "S*P*A*M" and "Giant Kitty", the perfect pop of "Anime Phenomenon", the feel-good adorably wonderful "A World Atlas" and the sublime "Under My Pillow" being particularly brilliant) 11) Heavy Songs (a few mediocre tracks easily made up for with some brilliant opening tracks and a strong four track finish)
Middle Tier:
12) Rock Animals (4 or 5 tracks that rank as some of my favourite Knife songs but 2 or 3 deplorable tracks that continue to leave a bad taste in my mouth 20 years since I first heard them pushes this album far down the list) 13) Happy Hour (I had a problem with this one when it first came out probably because it followed a brilliant flawless album, but my opinion has softened over the years particularly since these songs sound even better live) 14) Pop Tune (too new to move much further up the charts, as position 12 is held by an album that has some of my fav SK songs) 15) Fun! Fun! Fun!
LOTS OF SPACE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION.....LOL
Bottom 3 in no particular order (they are all equally bad in their own way and therefore nearly unlistenable):
Let's Knife (don't send me hate mail.........I mean it!!!!) Strawberry Sound Super Group
I did not include Osaka Ramones because I didn't want my love for the Ramones to unfairly push the album higher (or lower) in my album ratings.
Overdrive is too new to rate fairly....

Well Miken, your top albums are all pretty good ones, but, Let's Knife near the bottom? Simply the best SK album of the Michie years? o.0 oh well, it's all good, forums mean that everyone can give their opinions, honestly.

...it's all good, forums mean that everyone can give their opinions, honestly. Nice. So far I like every song better than all the others, no lie. I wonder what a complete catalog would even look like, including reissues, remasters, remixes, compilations, samplers, demos, soundtracks, lives...
