I don't have any problem understanding izumi, though. Too much LAZY, not enough guns, not the same BRISKY.

Well, well, well, the izumi story is only just beginning... [HAPPY NEWS!] It is our privilege to report that Gt. izumi is pregnant. As we have also received a personal message from izumi, by all means please refer to the below! Happy Happy ♡ sugarnspice.jp/news20160807Following up the link to the August 07 announcement on the s'N's news page, we find izumi plans to finish out the current 10th Anniversary Milestone Release tour and then go on leave. Her last day of work is 24 September at TSUTAYA O-Crest in Shibuya. This was already revealed orally at a recent show. In her absence, izumi's part will be handled by all-purpose guitarist/vocalist/songwriter K (Kaori Hanai, aka Kyao), for a 3P stage version of the band. K was just hospitalized herself in July. Members of Jinny Oops! joined sugar'N'spice onstage at joint shows to make up any lack of awesomeness, because Jinny is exceptionally cool that way. Izumi's message to fans reads: Pregnant band members just go on, and on, and on.Starting in June, I've been on break from live touring for reasons of poor physical condition. To all who heard and may have worried, I am terribly sorry. The fact is, I've been blessed with new life. And so, as a weighty first priority, I made the decision to bear and raise <a child>. For that reason, I haven't been mobile over long distances, couldn't even carry heavy loads, and had to take time off from touring. Now we enter a period of stability, and since both myself and the child in my belly are quite healthy, we're allowed to report to all of you. Am I quitting music because I got pregnant? You may well ask, but I'm of no such mind! After all, can't a male band member get married and have children without leaving the band? I believe it's no different for a woman. If I get married, even though I have a child, even when I'm a grandmother — I will not quit the guitar, I will go on standing on a stage as the guitarist of a band. Because life is precious, however, in order to give birth safely into this world, after the September one-man show I'll again take time off from live performance for a while. But later without fail, right away, we'll show you the 4-person sugar'N'spice live! For having willing accepted this, for allowing me to continue where I belong, playing guitar forever, let me offer my great gratitude to the band members. Marriage, childbirth, illness… among various other things in life, <there's> a lot ahead for this 4-person <band>. For the sake of continuing long-term, always ready on a large scale, continuing to preserve the band as a place where 4 individuals fit in, once again I feel that the members are tough and cool in the highest degree. sugar'N'spice, such a <band>, everybody always warmly watching over babies! I really, really thank you, you know? Is my physical condition OK? The way I feel, there's no way it couldn't be. Everyone's kindness brings me to tears. sugar'N'spice izumi

Girl rockers made of steelOr whatever they're made of, we could all use some of it I have nowhere else better to put this, but I need to put it anyway. LgB and sugar'N'spice have common DNA, don't forget. Here are highlights of what it looks like when your band's 10th anniversary and your national record tour intersect with your lead guitar's pregnancy and your own life-threatening illness. May 13K at Disney Zootopia. Looking like a cat, actually sick as a dog.June 24A few day's silence after a fishing trip, then this tweet from K. One miracle, please: Sorry, this is from a sickbed. It's as has been announced on the official website. For the first time in 10 years, I won't be standing onstage at my own live show. On that night I'm firm in the belief that 3 people will bring about a miracle on my behalf. June 25 Don't forget your lead guitar is delicate. On doctor's orders, she's not traveling 1,000km to a gig. Still, the Hokkaido show must go on. The sugar'N'spice rhythm section Hokkaido-bound on a wing and a prayer. Bear down girls, you can get through this. Explanations came a week later. June 30NEWS Announcement from sugar'N'spice There's a message to everyone from vo. K. Please see the following. Hello! K here. Sorry for making you worry.
Thanks to everyone for your many kind words wishing me a quick recovery. Unfortunately however, from this point forward I'll never get better, I'm now living with a disease.
It was fulminating Type 1 diabetes.
The pancreatic cells that make insulin are destroyed, I'm no longer able to regulate blood sugar on my own.
The only practical treatment is to continue injecting insulin several times a day for the rest of my life.
Unlike Type 2 diabetes, which accounts for 99 percent of diabetic patients, the incidence of Type 1 diabetes is 1-2 people per 100,000.
The disease isn't related to lifestyle, fatigue and stress, or genetics, the causes are unknown.
My blood glucose level was more than 5 times above normal when I was taken to the hospital, I had symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis.
Since I might have died if it had gotten any worse, I was really lucky.
Right now, I'm still in the hospital with no prospect of being discharged.
When I am discharged, a return to what we call everyday life is going to be my first major challenge in the beginning.
But I'm positively returning to the stage. Members, and everyone who's stood watch, I'm coming back to my proper place.
By that time I'll be many times stronger than before, from many more echos in the songs I sing. So don't worry, just look forward in anticipation, OK?
Going forward, please keep showing your favor and support for that greatest of bands, called sugar'N'spice.
July 05The hospital is still home Sorry to keep you waiting, everybody. Today's d'awww pic!! BAM!!! Looks like "MOFFU" is getting a hug. K named him. We were chatting about going camping in August 🤗 (— Rabbit) Mofu-mofu is approximately "soft and fluffy". July 08 The Milestone Tour at Kyoto MUSE with The Tomboys, Jinny Oops!, a band I don't know called An Sept., and with enough estrogen for a small town. Milestone Tour 7/8 @ Kyoto MUSE Volume, thank you very much! An Sept., THE TOMBOYS, these are the GREATEST, COOLEST GIRLS! And also our Jinny allies are seriously too good, they left our tear glands running. It was the best night! (— Okumura)July 29Okumura and Rabbit whip out a gig at Yamaro Shunan RISING HALL with the help of Rioko Minato, guitar and vocal for fabulous King Records recording artists BARBARS. Rioko, middle/hat, has said that she lacked confidence years ago when she was starting outAt this point, making do is getting kind of fun. They recorded some commercial spots for a joint future show sponsored by BARBARS. August 08K gets off the recovery ward and retakes the stage at Shizuoka Numazu QUARS. izumi's there, and it looks as if she played. The status of the live show is, completely resurrected! K's majestic guitar and vocal made a riveting appearance.
Up till now, unchanged even during K's absence ... Everyone who has supported and cheered for us, perhaps more than usual; all of our musical colleagues who supported us with their cooperation; all of the stakeholders who gave us their cooperation and understanding; and everyone who greeted us so warmly at the return live event, we truly, truly thank you ever so much. Damn, it feels good. K looking serious under heavy bangs, still quite triumphant for a new diabetic on the needle.

They made it official back on the 28th of October! lazygunsbrisky.com/?p=574 “In October Gt. Yuko of FLiP (now inactive) joined the official members and live activities are proceeding under the new regime.” Bad news for FLiP, but that band was already dispersed. Sachiko the vocal/guitar has been doing dates under her own name with bands like Kinoko Hotel, and DJing on her own and with Azu from LgB (and Cyntia). Yuko is on "Roll Out", the first single from the forthcoming album, which they've been hawking at shows along with a spiffy new t-shirt. “In March next year, with Mr. Kentaro Nakao (ex.NUMBER GIRL) as sound producer, LAZYgunsBRISKY have decided to release the first album after their revival for nationwide distribution. We'll mount anational tour starting in April for the release.”And so home, bam!Photo by Kiba Yoshihito @69gps. Somebody complimented Yuka on her Showa-era bar-girl outfit. I bet in March her hair won't be plain black anymore.

You wanna watch on the channel of rockLater, when I looked I saw that this LgB show was probably the whole reason tado beat created that Vimeo channel. Shooters, it's so important to lock off your auto-focus. LAZYgunsBRISKY @ Shimokitazawa Garden May 12 20122012 JUN 28 by tado beatIntro: Rolling Stones "Sympathy" Remix〜"B.o.Y." They've been in the studio recording, since around the 22nd of last month. The new album is titled "No Buts" and they're already selling tickets to the release party at LOFT on May 28. That's 6 months later than they thought, but they're rolling it out. New photography and a music video were last week. http://instagr.am/p/BNfp1R6F7GK Gone is the gold-top Les Paul, and also the black hair on Yuko turned into a discrete brown fade, at least for awhile in December. Moe establishing some basic parameters. Her birthday was the 4th. Those two mics on a pole are because they want to get her coming off the walls as if your head were on that same pole. http://instagr.am/p/BPrNl9KFDLD Intent on chokingThe hand twiddling the knobs on the Rainbow Machine effector box belongs to Producer-san, Kentaro Nakao of Crypt City. I guess what he is trying to choke is the wild oscillations of the Rainbow Machine. It's a polyphonic harmonizing modulator from Earthquaker, described as "an arpeggiating delay, a harmonizer and an experimental noisemaker all in one." It sounds like a chorus pedal from Walt Disney, or like somebody destroyed the entire time dimension, but it plays you as much as you play it and Kentaro apparently loves the thing. LgB goes psychedelic (hopefully not). Their 7th show on Wallop TV happens on the 24th from 21:30–22:30 local time. Instructions for tuning in are here, if you're free at that hour. Which is at 04:30am on the same morning, for me. lazygunsbrisky.com/?p=708

Record release party toward the end of next month. So... did Lucy get the pop songs out of her system? It's not Aerosmith, but it's more toward where they used to be. The funny part is, the film noir story-video reminds me of sugar'N'spice doing "Sweet Daybreak".

Event AZU Special Bass Clinic Report www.gakkicenter.com/hpgen/HPB/entries/49.html On 2017 March 25 (Saturday), we invited Ms. AZU, the bassist of the girls' rock bands CYNTIA / LAZYgunsBRISKY, to be featured at the Ochanomizu Instrument Center 2F Event Space, where she held a special bass clinic...
Among other things, we learn about AZU-san's amplification preferences as she rocks a Music Man StingRay SLO Special with a narrow 1.5" nut. Oddly, when she's demoing at Instrument Center she likes her Ampeg SVT-3PRO head plus what they promote (Ampeg 4x10, Blackstar Fly3). When she's playing at the Marshall-sponsored NAON no YAON, her favorite bottom is a Marshall VBC412. 🤔AZU demonstrates her MM axe playing fingerstyle... and with a pick... There's even a little slap and pop. AZU reps Ernie Ball, but rejects their hybrid slinky gauges of A=.080" and E=.100" because they're too slack for drop tuning. She is a straight medium-gauge girl. In other news, Winter is still cold, while Summer is hot. Artist profileAZU (CYNTIA/LAZYgunsBRISKY: Ba. & Cho.) In 2006 formed LAZYgunsBRISKY with classmates while in high school. In 2008, major debut produced by Mr. Kenichi Asai. 2 albums released, performed on 2 EU tours. Joined CYNTIA as support bassist. In 2016 December, after nearly 2 years, the first album with CYNTIA "Urban Night" on sale. With Yuko (Gt.) from FLiP officially joining the previous year, in March 2017 LAZYgunsBRISKY celebrate their first release after reviving. As a composer she has produced many musical works in both bands. ■ CYNTIA OFFICIAL WEB SITE cyntia.jp/■ CYNTIA Official twitter twitter.com/cyntia_official While we're on the subject, a CYNTIA concert DVD from the "Urban Night" tour shot at Shibuya www is out since April.
