This one's also not on YouTube, and I've not seen this elsewhere, the video for Ah Ah Ah. It's kinda trippy - perhaps 'cos of those huge mushrooms that they've got, ones with scarily spotty caps. I love the way that their shadows run off for a while. www.dailymotion.com/video/xfygq_shonen-knife-ah-ah-ah_musicAt the time, I'd actually been trying to track down a better copy of Chinese Disco. Does anyone know for high quality copies of the videos for either of these two songs? Attachments:

On the other hand, it was kind of bitter-sweet seeing Mana so happy and lively, knowing what would be in her future. Did you catch the cute baby in the stroller? That's Emma!

I agree, a rather bitter-sweet experience on watching this vid. But this is a nice way to remember her - happy, vibrant and having fun. I'd wondered if the baby was Emma, our future cover artist, or a lucky child who just happened to be passing and got drawn to the great music.

I wasn't certain where to put this, but I'm sure that mikado will move it if necessary. In case you haven't spotted it yet, here's a rather nice telephone interview on The Five Count with Naoko sandwiched between a host of Shonen Knife songs. The interview starts about 25 minutes into the prog. thefivecount.com/interviews/an-evening-with-shonen-knifes-naoko-yamano/Here's the picture that The Five Count used on their website, notice what the pic's called so that they get it right. If I remember correctly (it's been a long time since I dissected the bass line) she is taking over the melody from the guitar during the break and Naoko is backing off a bit to let her come forward. It's interesting. This is a very popular SK song. I've gotten the most hits on this one by far on the Bass Project.

I think it's cause many people remember this song from the Powerpuff Girls; who otherwise barely know SK
