No Cars might have grounds for an infringement complaint. Either that, or they should be working on a duet. If the hair color did not match the outfit I would have been let down, but thank god it's still KPP.

2017 will wait till I'm ready
Pamyurin wishes you a great new year, but was tied up with a New Year's Eve telecast, so her outfit will represent her instead.

SNOW QUEEN KPP CAN SEE HARAJUKU ALL THE WAY FROM RUSSIA Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - HARAJUKU IYAHOI2017 JAN 10 by kyarypamyupamyuTV While this is a very beautiful video, I just can't get the horrible thought out of my mind that KPP is dancing with (Jan Svankmajer's) Little Otik. He'd be all grown up by now. Look! There he is, to the right of the picture.

While this is a very beautiful video, I just can't get the horrible thought out of my mind that KPP is dancing with (Jan Svankmajer's) Little Otik. He'd be all grown up by now. Look! There he is, to the right of the picture. Totally reasonable to imagine that the designers know all about Otik and the folk tales he comes from. Doesn't Otik's nanny do away with his unnatural little self? From sheer terror. Not that there aren't tree people all over the map from Greek myth to J.R.R. Tolkien. These guys do homework like for a Hollywood period drama! Like for sure, the shattered mirror is straight out of Hans Christian Andersen. More ways to use wood, from the 5iVE YEARS MONSTER world tour. This is from taopriest's Vimeo channel. I don't know who shot this or for what, but supposing it's the tour windup at Nippon Budokan for TV and ultimately a documentary on disc. Mottai Night Land (04:35) CONTROL (Capsule instumental; intermission show) (04:29) Cosmetic Coaster (03:14)

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu LIVE in San Francisco 2016 JUL 24 by Justinian Nuñez (01:35:06)
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu playing at The Regency Ballroom on July, 22, 2016 in San Francisco for her KPP 5iVE YEARS MONSTER WORLD TOUR. This was one of the greatest and most creative concerts I've been to. Thank you, Kyary!!! I recorded almost all of the concert. My battery died for a minute during Sai & Co, but I caught most of it…
Prit much the whole 5YM review, which was scaled down a bit for portability overseas.

...KPP is dancing with (Jan Svankmajer's) Little Otik... Totally reasonable to imagine that the designers know all about Otik and the folk tales he comes from. Doesn't Otik's nanny do away with his unnatural little self? From sheer terror... It is just that Jan Svankmayer's Little Otik is such a nasty tree creature to be dancing with KPP. But that's JS for you. It has been a while since I watched the film, but I thought Otik ate his nanny and that it was his dad who did away with him in the end. But I could well be wrong and I'm not up for reaching for my copy to check. (Have you seen JS's Alice? It feels that you could probably catch something nasty from watching that film.) Yes, I'm sure a lot of homework goes into the staging of KPP's performances and videos and they look great for it. Even for the scaled down version as shown in that vid of the San Fransisco show. Almost wish I'd caught her in the UK. But I walked past the queue for one at a largish London venue and it was a rather long line. I was happy enough to be going to a gig in a pub just down the road. BTW, thanks for the link to taopriest's Vimeo channel. That is a seam well worth mining. I've just lost a ridiculous amount of time wandering around in there.

Kyary does EasterTransported somehow to the colorful Egg Planet, Kyary witnesses retro-futuristic egg wars between a kingdom out of Lewis Carroll and alien frying saucers. 〜〜〜 Writeup by Patrick St. Michel: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu embraces Easter on “Easta,” but how’s the song?2017 APR 04 by Patrick St. Michel for the PopAsia Blog of ABS.au The Harajuku model-turned-pop-star is doing her part to sell the hoppin' holiday in Japan.www.sbs.com.au/popasia/blog/2017/04/04/kyary-pamyu-pamyu-embraces-easter-easta-hows-song “Easta,” Kyary’s latest, comes tied to a campaign by retailer Aeon intended to promote the aforementioned holiday, starring Kyary herself. The song has to accomplish two goals; be a successful Kyary song and help educate the public about a new Spring happening.Patrick has had the same complaint about KPP for a couple of years: each new song isn't "Fashion Monster". But a middle-of-the-road Kyary march is actually suitable for a holiday known for parades. There's a lot of exposition about the characters being, you know, actual eggs. The kind you would usually eat, and with capybaras ketchup. But the Easter Bunny and Humpty Dumpty are confusingly mingled, so if you had to form a conception of the Easter holiday from this information, you'd think it was a kind of egg holocaust. Last outing was superficially Russian, this one is decorated with… Irish-traditional oboes? And a French Provincial costume. But if they hadn't dropped the toy piano, the new song would sound like something that didn't make it onto Moshi Moshi Harajuku in 2011, and there's the problem. The Kyary Machine isn't interested in music as much as image and massive corporate partnerships at this point. Kyary looks unusually like a regular cute adult human female with elaborate hair and clothes. Here's a helping of hate for the song from all-amateur Arama!Japan: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s MV for “Easta” is one of the saddest things you’ll see in 20172017 APR 05 By Alex Shenmue for the Arama!Japan entertainment blog aramajapan.com/news/music/newrelease/kyary-pamyu-pamyus-mv-for-easta-is-one-of-the-saddest-things-youll-see-in-2017/73462/There’s no hope for her career. She was, is, and will always be nothing more than a marketing puppet... This is the girl that put out one of the best J-pop records of 2013, trying to desperately survive [ among ] the ruins of the success she destroyed with her own hands....That's pretty hyperbolic, but it's true that the guys who want mass-market TV campaigns are the ones getting served first, which is creative death for artists who are not genius salespeople in their own right. And Nasutaka sleep-walked through this song.

Great outfit as always, Kyary. After I got over the pearlescent gold strappy platforms and glitter sox, I was looking at the "wishbone C" insignia on that hat thinking, how fortunate that Hiroshima and Cincinnati can split the production run on their baseball caps, that must save them a bunch of money, and… It turns out that the University of Chicago Maroons adopted much the same C-insignia at about the same time (1890s). I'm not sure that UC wasn't ahead of Cincinnati, but it's moot if no one can claim a unique trademark at this point in history. The Hiroshima Toyo Carp got their C from the University of Chicago team, who visited their counterparts at Waseda University in Tokyo in 1910. Ambassadors of the art and science of stickball. The two university teams visited each other reciprocally till at least 1930, according to a history published by The Core College Magazine. In 1912, Chicago played against Chuo University, which promptly copied their logo for itself, and then Chuo alumni brought the design to Hiroshima. All so the post-Harajuku girl can get in on the start of the 2017 season. KPP was pandering to the fans for her encore at a concert in Hiroshima.
