Due to a massive rent increase The Pipeline cannot continue trading on Middlesex Street. The rent has gone up more than 3 fold in only 7 years. The area has gentrified in a pace we did not anticipate, nor did we want to encourage. The aim for The Pipeline was never to run a posh cocktail bar or a restaurant; we wanted to provide an alternative space in the City for people with rock n’ roll in their veins. Some will say when we close our doors that we failed. But looking back we can’t help but think that we did a pretty good job in keeping this bar open for 7 years and we enjoyed every second of it. Thanks to all the greasers, punks, pinupps and regular joes who made this place what it is, as well as the unruly bands and just as unruly bar staff. The final week of trading will be 18-23 July with the grand finale on Saturday 23 July 4pm till Late. Please come and say goodbye and drink a last pint before it is all gone. Expect some live music as well and special treats! We will try to move our business to another location but nothing found yet so it might take some time. Do contact us on info@thepipelinebar.co.uk if you find a place for us or if you got other things you want to discuss with us.
I have noticed massive changes to London over the last couple of years, and none of them for the good. I despair for my beautiful, dirty playground that is London.

Don't relocate to San Francisco, is all. I know it's in the nature of wealth to concentrate, just like it's in the nature of matter to condense. Since we can't have a society where everybody has only what they need, we'll have to go for one where everybody is filthy rich.

How the hell did I miss this gig??? I must be slipping! They're a Japanese Mexican polka band. I would like to hear them cover the Pogues. That would make my week, and then I would like the lead guitar's phone so I could Skype her once in awhile and say, "If you don't mind... would you just do that face you do? Oh that's it, that's good, thanks so much, have a great day, bye."

BimBamBoom's first music video is on YouTube, and they're a little bit proud of themselves. BimBamBoom / O.E.C. Tiger roll2016 JUL 12 by Info BimBamBoom (04:08) 2016.6.22 release From the 1st Album「TIGER ROLL」 MV for「O.E.C. Tiger roll」completed!!Everything about this proves my suspicion that these are band geeks who just didn't know when to quit. Awfully funky ones, though. Only Mother Miyoko knows how to be in a music video. Handmade photo backdrop on white muslin. They probably wouldn't realize how much adorable bucktoothed half-japanese black kids in huge naturals look like a slice of watermelon in the USA of today. What the last 40 years have done to us. BimBamBoom 「TIGER ROLL」 APWA-0019 ¥2,000 (tax out)
Available from: Tower Records, Village Vanguard、Amazon, Pivot Records, and more Tower Records special offers: sticker (some stores excepted)

I don't believe this, period! That audience must all be early for the K-pop midnight show. How disheartening to scream your lungs out for the walking dead. That Sound Mind Manager YT channel is a gold mine, since they recorded shows from both weekends of a 4-day concert for Mushroom Recording's 3rd anniversary.
Say no more: Scumraid is on the roster at mushroomrecording.com
