How celebrity works in the world
Strangely, as you've probably noticed
BACKGROUNDIf you visit Wikia.com, be aware that you're liable to have Adobe Flash
and a bunch of ads that employ it pushed on you rather aggressively... helloproject.wikia.com/wiki/Asobu.Kurasu.Sodateru.SATOYAMA&SATOUMI_e_Ikou_2017A video (originally posted on Twitter) of ANGERME member Murota Mizuki dancing to Country Girls singing "Tochi Kyarazu no Theme"
while she helped at a booth has received 1.9 million views on Facebook and was aired on TV by a Taiwanese news network...
So… here's Mizuki Murota, a member of the Hello! Project idol sub-project
ANGERME (Light Blue, 3rd-generation, since 2014).
The group's name is explained as a crush-down of
ANGEL+
LARME,
Angel+Tear, the thing you cry, in French.
And their actual name, アンジュルム (ANJURUMU) does work that way.
A better English equivalent would be ANJARME. Or even ANGELME.
But they aren't called either of those. What is wrong with people.

morningmatome.com/...Eng-Sub-Kakugo-Shite---AngermeANGERME at work during the first leg of their 2017 winter concert tour of Japan,
from the Limited Edition of their April 2017 BD/DVD. This represents their most fun,
cheerleading side. Some of their repertoire is colder and harder, with more hip-hop
vocabulary. I attribute that to the influence of hard-style Korean idol groups.
Kakugo Shite! is credited to
THE☆FUNKS, a brother-duo unit produced by Yutaka Yusota
with
Hideki Fujisawa, who is a frequent contributor of disco-oriented material to a
long list of other entertainers.
Looking to spot Mizuki? As a start, she's about 5 feet tall.
Wasn't very hard, was it?The ceaseless, somewhat annoying (?) metaphorical equivalence between an
expected romantic encounter and a military battle is standard stuff, a deep-seated
bit of Japanese social orthodoxy. These are people who compare fancy underwear
to personal weaponry.
Morning Matome pitches the song as an idol's defensive message to the adoring
public. Their lyrics subs reflect a wish for this to be true, but I think it might be
trying too hard to be clever.
The song lyrics were written some time ago by a dude who sports sunglasses
and a stadium-dome afro.

A bit later in the year, ANGERME are participating in a massive annual event
called "Play. Spend time together. Train. Satoyama & Satoumi Movement 2017",
held this year on March 25–26 at the Tokyo-area Makuhari Messe
convention center.
This is about raising awareness and also funding for conservation of wetlands
that hug the mountains and coastline of Japan.

Part of Mizuki's job, when she's not involved with performing, is to
staff the merchandizing area. Here, she's hawking bag lunches at
the top of her lungs.

You interact with the public, which is fun to a point, but tiresome work at best...

Mizuki hands off to fellow Hello!Pro member Moet Kamikokuryo ("Kamiko")
because Kamiko-chan needs her camera time, too. Everybody shares,
but not everybody gets struck by smartphone lightning.

When another group is on the main stage, their audio comes over the PA.
Whoa, "Tochi Kyarazu"!! I love Country Girls!!! (Shelved stablemates that
contributed members to ANGERME, and are on-theme for the 2-day event.)

Mizuki sure brought a lot of her own to the table.

Bottom-line takeawayThe cricket-scale Murota constantly reiterates to the press that she wants to be No.1.
A world-famous dancer, on the scale of a Michael Jackson. Girls, be ambitious.
Ironically, although well-known to idol zealots, she got the attention of everybody
on earth when she was just horsing around while working a convention booth.
Moral of the story: Because smartphones, always look and act your best whenever you leave the house.
