I've not noticed any links to this vid, Ponponpon by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Its a wicked video, right to the very end. www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=pb3IdLdIc6sIf you listen to it too many times you may find yourself trying to sing it in the street. Oh no, I just watched it 4 times in a row, what'll happen to me? (Well, I had to make sure I'd got the right one - HD and all that) Must try and not sing when I go over to the shop just now for milk. And of course there are also loads of clips posted of people showing themselves doing the dance. Some are rather good. If you're interested, here's one of many vids that've been done showing the lyrics in English. www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=0ifI9wXmpDQAttachments:

This showed up last week. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu-Crazy Party Night-Pumpkins Strike Back-2015 AUG 20 by kyarypamyupamyuTV Published on Aug 20, 2015 (04:23) KPP's 11th Single"Crazy Party Night" produced by Yasutaka Nakata (CAPSULE)Halloween in August, with all the KPP signature stuff from ghouls to self-transformation to toy piano and a bouncy march tempo. For a crazy party night, it's a little tepid compared to old KPP. Everybody seems to be covering their assignment except Yasutaka Nakata. Makes me very nostalgic for "Fashion Monster", and the biggest difference is the amount of juice in the song itself. .-+o*º`^`º*o+-._.-+o*º`^`º*o+-._.-+o*º`^`º*o+-._.-+o*º`^`º*o+-._.-+o*º`^`º*o+-._.Here's another somewhat chill KPP tune from days gone by. But its wistful lyric content gets a mighty shot from the video director's interpretation. How to Watch Kyary Pamyu Pamyu – Kira-Kira KillerMTV IGGY with it's tongue in its cheek only a little. Join KPP in transcendence of samsara through the power of romance plus shamanic hoverboarding.

What I am talking about.
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Fashion Monster - 2012 SEP 20 by Warner Music Japan "Fashion Monster" October 17 2012 Release The long-awaited new song plunges into new rock territory, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu style! In the tradition established by the popular extended mix recording "Tsukema Tsukeru" (KPP's first single).
"Don't wanna be a good girl like the others — don't you feel the same?" It's so much easier to be terrific when you start with a full tank of gas.

KPP has done loads of great vids and inspired a lot of dance mirrors. Here's a rather nice mirror of Ninja Re Bang Bang done by a cute girl in a short sailor dress.

None other than Emi-nyan working up a J-Pop Fest contest submission in 2014 on what looks like Sunday morning in Palo Alto. Her hand-things are truly awesome. No idea what happened with the contest, though.

Rina from Scandal via Twitter: "Everyone who tuned in to MUSIC JAPAN, thank you! I saw Kyary Pamyu Pamyu the day we taped! We're closing the distance between the two of us little by little. We've been talking to each other a lot recently." #scandal_sisters #MJ

Over the years, Mami's done more than anyone to meet Kyary halfwayKPP is also reported to be pretty good friends with Perfume. They're not much alike, but they have a writer/arranger/song producer in common.

On the 29th, it was Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's 23rd birthday! Three whole years of majority haven't slowed her down much. She's expanding her theme park. She thanks you for your good wishes from the hospital, where she had staged an announcement about plans for her sixth year as a song and dance girl. Something to do with expectation and delivery, I think. Please look forward to more product in 2016Twenty-three in truth does not look like the little fashion leprechaun we're used to seeing on stage and screen. This is the only me I've got, so I'm giving it a marketing test. How many likes?〜〜〜 Elsewhere on the innerweb, I happened on a story from last year, about how KPP royally aggravated a percentage of the hardcore fanbase with her Instagram display of a goth nail-job: What she might have done x what she did. "Miracle Eye" was her comment. The kawaii-freaks were greatly wroth. But they're self-regarding idiots who have forgotten what their star is all about. Pink Nose Princess in dyed cotton knitting yarnLatex gloves for a medusa's head of cascading goreReturn to fundamentals: Lucifer please come home, all is forgiven.

I prefer it, when Asian girls don't try to "Westernise" themselves, they are beautiful just the way they are. I don't get it, what's non-westernized, this? Japanese people consciously own the Western thing and use it to advantage, ever since Commodore Perry made his little proposition to them from behind the big end of a 10-inch naval gun. They sit at high tables in four-legged chairs with backs, they wear Western clothing, they eat at Micky Dee's and Starbucks... when they can afford it. They like French fashion, cosmetics, and desserts. They get excited about Hollywood movies. They adopt American pop trends. They go nuts for Finnish cartoon characters and Indian curry. They still stay Japanese. Once I asked a Japanese biz associate if anyone ever wore traditional clothing around the house in Japan. My only thought was, a kimono is easy, comfortable and good-looking. I thought he was going to choke on his Mexican nachos.

I mean, changing their eyes to look rounder, dying their hair blonde or other non Asian colours... basically, I was talking about their faces/bodies, not their lifestyles.

I mean, changing their eyes to look rounder, dying their hair blonde or other non Asian colours... basically, I was talking about their faces/bodies, not their lifestyles. Well... Westerners dye their hair in all the colors of japanimation, that seems to be OK. The Great East Asian Cosmetic Blepharoplasty… makeup is one thing, but this. They certainly don't need to do for my benefit. I hate permanent cosmetic effects, but sometimes out-and-out surgery is just necessary for a normal life. And if you're in media, or feel you simply have to improve strangers' reactions to you, then "necessary" and "normal" are flexible. People think it's obvious that Pamyurin got her lids done years ago. I doubt it, though. The giveaway, apart from shape, is how much of the eye-white and iris are showing when the eyelid muscles are relaxed. I don't see enough difference to conclude anything, except that makeup and posing really work. Parade of Pamyu L/R: Middle school all natural baby idol, high school part-time model, well into the bigtime, and you don't need eyeglasses for pete's sake.Rina's innocent. Those things were always just big. L/R, high school practice room, sometime in 2012 or 2013, and please just cut that out, OK?〜〜〜 On the other hand, is Japan's reluctance to correct snaggle teeth with orthodontics really so great? I don't insist on a toothpaste smile, but there are Japanese walking around out there with ongoing disasters in their mouths, based on nothing but a long-held ideas not only about what beauty should be, but about how you are and are not allowed to get some for yourself. In a weird turnaround, Japanese women actually pay to have an even bite scrambled, and orderly eyeteeth twisted into cute baby anime fangs.
