Happy New Year from EmiShe's getting enough to eat all right At year-end, my local shrine is already fully in the New Years mood 🐕 ⛩ very much healing with cuteness. Shrewdly distracting me with the Chinese zodiac dog, until there's some jingle-jingle 🐼 The turn of the year is a big time for shrine donations. New Year's Day is their Black Friday. For the first time in years, toshikoshi soba while watching the advent of the new year. It's the beginning of 2018! Thank you very much for your support again this year!First drink of the new year — I ate western-style o-zouni and western-style oden with wine in a stand-up bar, at Miyake Shinji's 30th anniversary tribute. In-credibly rich! At the shop next door, they have posters of Guernica pasted up! Nosebleed!Nosebleed from the excitement of seeing pictures of Guernica, with Jun Togawa. Miyake Shinji is an old-time blues singer and guitarist. The zouni is delicious vegetable soup as a reason to eat mochi, and the oden is a kind of stew of boiled eggs with winter vegetables in fish broth. Both big around New Year's.

Art of Emi ca. 2011In Shonen Knife's 30th anniversary year, Emi started getting artistic on tour. She liked to go for full coverage. Cartoon centipedes and long texts on sticks. From Emi 2011/06/30 (Thu) The Minazuki live is over!! www.shonenknife.net/blog/archives/6605 Since the show was local, there was time to relax before opening. I went for a salt sauna at a super public bath (recommended!)
A painted snare head for the 712 DAY PARTY. It's a head I've been using for years, ever since I started drumming.
Although you may not be able to tell from the photo, the part where I put the name "EMI" is shiny from too much beating. Please pick up the real thing and check it out!! (lol) Limit one!!!
All in all, we're going to blow away the 712 DAY PARTY! The Osaka Ramones are coming out too! I look forward to seeing you all! Till then, take care in the summer heat!!Minazuki isn't a place, it's a time — the lunar new year, which happens in June. Where they played was Takutaku in Kyoto. The next two pics are from a discussion board at the JPLOP FACTORY forums (dedicated to the Hello! Project of Morning Musume). jplop.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5702 San Francisco, the Bottom of the Hill, on 04 NovemberPortland, Dante's, on 05 NovemberThese come from elsewhere in Emi's tour blog: Chicago, Nov 12Osaka, Dec 01Tokyo Shimokitazawa, April 25

Pretty major show! 2018.1.5 at Takutaku. Live for the first time. [Guest Instrumentalists] Seiichi Yamamoto / Junko Fuchigami / Kuu. [Special Appearance] Onegai Fruits Radio. Photos by @nyoko_kimagureusagi @igurock & harumi. Seiichi Yamamoto defies categorization, but it's an event whenever he sets foot outside of Namba BEARS. Junko Fuchigami is a career educator who performs on vocals, pianica, "instruments", and other accessories when he's not off trekking in Africa or something. Onegai Fruits Radio is the quintet consisting of Akira Watanabe and Jun Hamada from Lainy J Groove, with Masafumi Tozan (My Memories) SHIM TATSUYA, and Kyoto radio programmer Wakui Shin. And here they are on the 5th at Takutaku for the event with the dokuros:

Noritake Kinashi (木梨憲武) is almost as famous for being short as he is for being funny.

Emi's Valentine's Day – looks good
Though a plain ordinary person, I got to experience an extravagantly luxurious personal reality escape attraction — driving a Benz, scooping fugu sashimi with chopsticks on the pier, washing it down with hot sake and grilled fish fins.
